Psychiatrist
Ana Mafalda Carvalheiro is a perfectionist, demanding and dedicated person. Because she is concerned about others and likes to help, she has participated as a doctor in several events supported by the Portuguese Red Cross (voluntary basis).
In addition to her Masters in Medicine, she also has an Advanced Specialization in Cognitive-Behavioral Psychotherapy.
Within the Psychiatry specialty, she has a particular interest in the areas of bereavement, palliative care and geriatrics.
She is author and co-author of several articles published in national and international journals. In addition, she is author and co-author of book chapters, posters, national and international oral communications.
Throughout her professional career she has participated as a speaker at various Symposia and Meetings, as well as in activities of psychoeducation and health education.
